They ensure that patient records are properly coded, organized, formatted and that claims are filed correctly. Doctors depend on their expertise for appropriate reimbursement for services and accuracy of patient records.
Q) Is At-Home Professions accredited?
A) Yes. At-Home Professions is an Accredited Member of the Distance Education Accrediting Commission. The Distance Education Accrediting Commission is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a recognized accrediting agency for distance learning schools. We are also an Accredited Member of the Better Business Bureau, and we are proud of our A+ rating.

A) No. Our program is designed to get you started toward a new career with no previous experience required. You must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED. If you don’t currently know how to type, we can counsel you on the best typing tutorials to use for your specific skill level.
Q) Why is this field growing so quickly?
A) Simple. We have a population that is not only growing, it's aging. More people are going to more doctors, which results in more medical reports. This will also mean more claims for reimbursement from private and public insurance.
